WORLD SCHOOLS' CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010
The English Schools' Table Tennis Association is pleased to announce the players selected to represent ESTTA at the International School Sport Federation (ISF) World Schools' Table Tennis Championships to be held in the Czech Republic from 25th - 31st March 2010.
Morpeth School, London - Sally Hoang, Majada Yasmin, Chantal Wilson, Sayeedha Miah, Grant Solder, (NPC) and Bedford Modern School - Joshua Robinson, Nishanth Narayanan, Alex Farmer, Harpreet Rupal, Paul Birch (NPC) will take part in the School Team Championships.
Sean Cullen (Netherthorpe School, Staveley), Lewis Gray (Angley School, Cranbrook), Daniel Lowe (Netherthorpe School, Staveley), Sam Walker (Valley Comprehensive School, Worksop) and Dave Pilkington (NPC) will be the ESTTA representatives in the Selected Boys' Team Championships.
Emily Bates (Kesteven & Grantham Girls' School), Yolanda King (St. Bede's Senior School, Hailsham), Natalie Slater (Maryhill High School, Stoke on Trent), Chloe Whyte (The King's Academy, Middlesbrough) and Gail Johns (NPC) will be the ESTTA representatives in the Selected Girls' Team Championships.
John Blackband (Chairman, ESTTA) will be the Head of Delegation. All kit for the England teams will be provided by the ESTTA sponsor, Butterfly.
Players from 22 countries have shown an interest in taking part in the event. They include Belgium Flanders, China PR, Chinese Taipei, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Slovakia .... together with the hosts from the Czech Republic .... and England.
The draw will be held on 15th January 2010 in Brno, Czech Republic.
